A rare Short-Toed Eagle
Whilst I was out and about rolling with the Rollers in Alentejo, I saw this majestic eagle. It wouldn't let me get too close for photographing so from a rough photo I did this sketch and one other.
Blue Rock (salt) Thrush
The magic of a Blue Rock Thrush sighting always captures my heart, and I've done several different prints and drawings. I am somewhat in love with them.
Conference of the Birds
My next project is focused on drawing, printmaking and painting all the birds in the Mertola area, Baixa Alentejo and possibly putting a publication and exhibition together in 2026. The theme of migration will figure strongly as well.
